Shangri-La & Hungri-La

Before Shangri-La was famous for being a hotel chain, it was first described by James Hilton in his 1933 novel Lost Horizon as a mystical, harmonious valley, synonymous with earthly paradise. Shangri-La is a happy land somewhere in Tibet. (paraphrased from Wikipedia teehee ^^)

Hungri-La island, from OP episode 492, offers a surreal imagination as well. Whipped cream rivers, caramel volcano, candy floss...as expected from Oda. Genius.

Sadly, both Shangri-La and Hungri-La are only fictional and is a far cry from the world we are living now. But I was taught to believe there is such a REAL happy place, someday soon. :)

Sabbath shallom.

I tell you Mr Weiner, home is the happiest place for me. :)

April Rain

I seriously miss the blue sky, sunshine and dry laundry. I hope it rained hard in Africa too, they need it more than us here. ^^

In less than an hour, the Sabbath is approaching and it's another special Saturday. Going to have loads of roti canai Snickers bar before the sun sets (yeah, no sun all day).

Happy Sabbath and Happy Fasting to those who fast!
