Should I Add Him on Facebook?

July 30 comes again. I had an awesome weekend (my weekend is never boring), filled with get-togethers and of course, eating.

Okay, today's post is going to be short and simple, just to point out that I remembered. :)

Happy Birthday Dad. It has been a while, but I wish you nothing but the best!

Now, should I request to be his friend in Facebook? Hmmmm...

July Sixteenth

If I could describe what is my definition of a wonderful Sabbath, the answer would be a Saturday like July 16th.
I had a great time, all the way from Friday's sunset to Sabbath's sunset.

After vesper Friday night, me, Neptune and Mercury (names with cosmic influence were intended) were supposed to rehearse a song. Saturn was supposed to be there as well, but due to some mis-communication, both me and Neptune failed to informed her. Totally our fault.

After not seeing each other for a week (only), we couldn't help but to talk, talk, talk.  Our topics was so diverged, I couldn't even comment on. I'm not proud to say that we discussed about people. But we discussed about events and also ideas. Time spent was ninety percent talking, ten percent singing. We came home an hour or so before midnight. ;p

The talking continued on Saturday as we attend church service someplace not very far from ours' and Mercury's. Then, lunch at the round table of misup. The topics diverged even further and deeper. That tauke misup have seen us grow, especially me and Neptune. We were regulars there since high school. ;p
As young adults, we're heading on our own career path, we've met new circle of friends, we have our respective significant others, but I am so thankful our friendship never changed.

July sixteenth also marks the birthday of my coolest bestie, Neptune. If I die, it's her job to clear my computer/internet history immediately. lol. I don't call her my bestie for nothing, she knows everything. Seriously.

Neptune's 2010 birthday card from me :)

I am richly blessed with such awesome friendship, I thank Thee Lord. :)

Frugal July

Half of 2011 is gone. I spent the first half of 2011 being lazy and spending money. Now, I am finally making some money. :) Praise the Lord!

To be honest, I did not expect to be doing this kind of job too suddenly. I did not have enough time to be mentally prepared. I got a call and started work immediately. It's a good thing I have friends who are familiar with this kind of field, coz I desperately needed help. ;p

So, after a few week of working, what's my say? Hmmm, it's amusing dealing with multivariate personality every day. I got to know different kind of people. The downside? I'm starting to have headache, literally! Real pain in the head. And I'm sure it is caused by my incompetence/lack of skill for this job. I don't know how you people do it, coz I am having a hard time here.

It's not a bad thing actually. I am enjoying my moments, but I really can't see myself doing it the rest of my life. It's not my calling...yet. ;p But at this point, I won't be picky. I'll do whatever that pays me. Even though frugality is a concept I'm trying to live now, I still need income nonetheless. This may not be a permanent job but I am still going to do my best. Who knows where it leads me next, right? :)

what's keeping me busy these days.

In this second half of 2011, I pray for frugal living (since I won't be paid instantly). I pray for moderation, even in moderation itself. And yes, I pray for a happier days.

Happy Fasting..again. It'a been three months since the last time we fasted, time flies really fast aye?
