CGPA Blessing

Praise the Lord..praise Him..

Just checked my result and I am jumping with joy!

Okay, my grades are not that good..in fact, it is almost terrible..kalo orang lain yang dapat result sy, berabisan keciwa kali oo..kepada yang ekstrem dan berakal pindik, mugkin boleh bunuh diri..huhu..it really is far from excellent, definitely not the kind of result you wanna show to your parents..huh..total opposite to my baby bro who calmly said 'ada jatuh ckit la, tapi masih atas 3.5'..how I wish I can say the same thing with mine!!!

I used to be an excellent student, an A student throughout upsr n pmr..and dropped to half A half else for spm..haha..Where did THAT Charmain go anyway?
As for today, I am immune to low grades..it still bothers me slightly, but overall I am still smiling even when I saw D.
Why?
Phil 4:4-7..

Praying before checking my result helps too. It gives a sense of calmness in the midst of anxiousness. I say repeatedly "Whatever it is, I am thanking God"..it could have been worse, right?

Huh..I can't get enough of positivity!!

Fun Fun Family Weekend

My weekends are never dull, there's always something exciting happening...especially on Saturday!! That's why I can't resist going back on weekends during schooldays. Home is loaded with fun..

Let the pictures do the talking ya..

Celebrated baby bro's 20th birthday..1 week late, but it was on purpose. We waited for big bro to come home.

The lighting makes me look rumpang..=D

Baby bro is not so 'baby' anymore but the name sticks forever..my grandparents still calls him 'Ibie'..We still call him 'B' even though he's almost an adult now..

Celebrated Father's Day and belated Mother's Day at church..

A simple yet touching program to remind us of their unfailing love.

This is Grandpa the Great..our Ama..

Candid shot tho'..=p

with Grandma and her aunt..and Mum..

Ina and her aunt are bestie!!

Friendship that aged for decades..never go out of style.

We had our afternoon nap under mango tree..soothing breeze!

One of the fun things to do with siblings!! (I slept prettily despite of the heat!!)

Sunday..went to our uphill fruit orchard with Ama.
Big bro & me up on a rambutan tree..
The high-ness/tall-ness of the tree is not really shown in this pic.
It's quite high actually..(perlu ditekankan..menunjukkan bahawa sy pndai panjat pokok)

Then, that evening we had family dinner at Atlantis Seafood Restaurant, Jalan Bundusan.

The only seafood we had was fish anyway..

The foods are great, the ambiance are nice..and most important..being in a family!!

The grandchildren of Jimmy Kula & Eboh Sakandar..

Us with Ezron..He used to call me Auntie, due to the age gap..but now, he acknowledges us as his first cousin! And calls me kakak all the time..=)

Jaime & Joy (Michigan) should be in this pics..
Debbie Annisa & Darron (Malacca) too..i miss them..And soon-to-be born, Ezron's sibling.

Rare family picture..=)

We're all grown up now..

So, as conclusion..

I can say that my family :
  1. Love taking skema pics
  2. Eat a lot
  3. Pray a lot
  4. Love a lot
  5. Blessed in so many ways
Being part of them is purely blessing!

Sock-less Day Out

Me being sock-less and wearing sneakers is a rare event. Today is historical as I decided to go against my personal hygiene regime..and I survived from blisters!

Pergi berjumpa dengan supervisor after soooo long. Sepatutnya jumpa pada bulan Mei lagi namun atas alasan sheebuk dengan perkawinan, keramaian dan kaamatan yang sebenarnya saya teda celebrate, maka pertengahan Jun baru dapat jumpa. Huh..

The workloads are like..BERTIMBUN..on semester break..Cuti ka apa ni? Perghhh..

I am expected to finish my neural network models, transform to matices form before I could actually run my data. Each NN architecture IS bersimpang siur..I still don't geddit..Okay, no complaining Chamen..no complaining..

As an optimist would say, I'm thankful that I am in a course that's really #$%^#&%(!@ because it's an opportunity for me to push myself. Once we know our limits, we go beyond it..I am utilizing my brain to the point I might end up being insane...okay, exaggeration.

School is two weeks away, and my dissertation thing is still a total chaos. An advice I get a lot, run your data during the holiday..once class started, then there's no more time to spare. Sure, sure but I still can't work it out!!!! It's damn confusing...Huh..I'm trying my best not to complaint..in fact, I started blogging to remind me all the GOOD things in life rather than complaining and worrying. So, I shall not complaint!

Inhale...exhale..and I'm ready to work it out..umm, tomorrow la..

Sweating Like Crazy

Feels good to sweat..Went jogging pusing Taman Bukit Sepangar this evening to burn some calories from all the feastings..

I have a thing for architecture..and I seriously think the houses in TBS are so damn kewl. I LOVE IT...there's around 7 different design and I love all of it..it's so modern yet felt really homely. Definitely a place I can see myself in the future..heh..That's one reason why I love passing through the housing area, TO DREAM...Continued drooling over the houses via the developer's site here.

Then dinner, I had a BIG plate. Amount of calories burned=Amount of calories consumed..Total equilibrium!!

Happy Hour and iPanema Sandals

These past few week has more weddings than it had from Jan-April..Everyone is getting married, it's like dozen of weddings on weekends..can't complain when you get makan free..=D

Sunday evening, Mum's siblings had impromptu (coconut) drinking session at Pahu after we got back from a wedding in KM. All of Mum's younger brother are present sans the one in the State. I drank like crazy, and chatted happily with them...We had a great conversation, completely ignoring Milo who is a renowned slipper biter..btw, Milo is a canine. When its finally time to part ways, I noticed my beloved iPanema sandal got bitten and PUTUS.

Before I can do anything to Milo, Uncle No 1 quickly saved the situation. Since I can't find the missing part of my selipar (probably Milo swallowed it already), Uncle No 1 took another burungkui selipar jipun and said "Ba, kasi korban ni selipar" (yea, that's what he said exactly).. I was like.."What for?".. He cuts the part he needed, took a match and burned the putus part of my sandal and the one he cut from another slipper..when both ends are burning, he attached both of it..(WARNING: Can only be applied to rubber slippers)

Um, apology for being really bad at giving visualization of what really happened. Anyway, in the end, my sandal is WEARABLE!!! Thanks to Uncle No 1!!! He is ever classic and loaded with informations on how-to.
Looks kinda burnt (of course la)..but if it fix the problem, why not?

I am a big fan of iPanema sandals..very durable, versatile yet catches the eye. You can wear it for hiking, camping, mall hopping, class, play badminton, vesper, halau sapi, anywhere...it looks good with everything, even gonob (kain sarung cap kelapa)..I call it casually elegant..
I bought my first pair in 2007 at RoyalHouseSport KK, and it's still in good shape now..It's a line by Gisele Bundchen, who launched the line in purpose of saving the rivers/forests in Brazil..if I'm not mistaken.. I am supporting a good cause by buying a sandal!! Shopping had never been more beneficial..(^.^) Too bad most of the design got ciplak-ed...I can spot which is the ori and which is not..ho ho ho...

Sista's n my iPanema collections so far.

I believe in sustaining our natural resources..huhu..minor damages can be mend ba..time budak2, when selipar jipun putus, can put paku or whatever to fix it..no need to buy new one. I've learnt new way to fix selipar jipun yang putus, thanks to Uncle No 1.

Ok..nuff saying..

About Mongomot

Mongomot is harvesting in my mother tongue..The official Harvest Festival had just passed few days ago..the people in (my) kampung finished harvesting months ago anyway.

Currently, I myself is busy doing harvesting job..which I do a lot, and its very money-making. I'm on my way to be a millionaire through the farming industry!! I'm working on to make my farm more profitable, and simultaneously making myself available for hire to harvest crops. I am being VERY productive..I was hired by a Canadian, Croatian and visited farm ran by Iowa-ian, Hawaiian, Filipino...yeah, its all nice in the virtual world..lol..

That is what I do to kill time now, farming through FB application..which is surprisingly FUN and addictive. Kinda makes me think of the real labor market out there...and it is not a pleasing thought..Urghh..I can't imagine myself competing for employment in the labor market. Sounds like too terrifying..naaa, sepa suru x jadi cigu or nurse...huhuhu..

Anyway, back to my harvest story..this is what I did during the Harvest Festival Weekend..

Nowell & Ugas... love the dress!! So divine..

Sista as bridesmaid with her bride bestie..

Wedding usherettes..sometimes I feel too damn TALL..wearing 2 inch heels makes me look like a coconut...=D

Harvest Festival itself is an exclamation of gratitude..definitely thanking God for the blessings.

And, oh ya, dissertation thing is still under hiatus..T_T

Plus, I instantly thought of this Bible text...

Galatians 6:7-10:

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

From whatever context, its relevant to say "I reap/harvest what I sow"..
